How to Delete an FTP User account from cPanel?
If you have multiple FTP user accounts and you don’t need an account for which you have access and you want to delete an FTP user Account, then you need to follow these steps.
- Firstly, you need to signed in to your cPanel account.
- Now, you find the “Files” area and select the “FTP Accounts” text or click this icon shown in the given below.
- When you see the “FTP Accounts” page loaded, then you see in “Log in” text field, where you select “DELETE” option. And select the checkbox of “Delete the user’s home directory” if you don’t need the user’s directory.
- To Delete the Account, need to press the “Delete” button. Otherwise, FTP Account will not be removed.
