How to change the password of the FTP in cPanel?
If you feel that your FTP server account is not secure then you need to apply a new password to secure your cPanel Account. Well, if you feel that there is only a single FTP server account is not secure, then you need to follow these steps to change the password of the FTP in cPanel.
- Firstly, you need to signed in to your cPanel account.
- Now, you find the “Files” area and select the “FTP Accounts” text or click this icon shown in the given below.
- When you see the “FTP Accounts” page loaded, first you type User’s log in name which you feel not secure, now you click on “Change Password” and type new password twice and check the difficulty level of password to click on “Password Generator”.
- To apply this changes, need to press the “Change Password” button. Otherwise, changes will not be applied.
